Three decades of impact
Andy Ings founded Lado in Taipei with a clear conviction: that Taiwan's professionals deserved world-class business English training designed around their real working lives. Starting with a handful of corporate clients and an unwavering belief in the power of language, Lado planted the seed of something that would grow far beyond its founders' earliest ambitions.
A decade into our journey, we formalised what our best coaches had always known intuitively. The result was Dynamic Learning — a proprietary methodology built around authentic communication, real business scenarios, and measurable outcomes. It was the moment Lado evolved from a training company into a thought leader, setting a new bar for what corporate English coaching could achieve.
Crossing 2,000 training hours per month was more than a milestone — it was proof of concept. By 2019 our roster had grown to include some of Taiwan's most respected multinationals, financial institutions, and technology firms. Yet our philosophy remained unchanged: every session should feel personal, purposeful, and built around the individual in the room.
When the world shifted overnight, Lado moved with it — not reactively, but deliberately. We migrated our entire curriculum online and introduced a hybrid coaching model that preserved the human connection our clients valued most. The transition reinforced a core belief: that great communication transcends the room, the screen, or the format. Adaptability remains the true foundation of success.
